after years of planning, meeting with many people and focusing on this ever so important project we are here to let you know that we are live! this project can now start and collect donations!
the process was long, many twists and turns but we finally arrived at the point in which we can start and that is huge! never have we been so overwhelmingly challenged as with this huge project, but we are here to tell you that we are finally good to go!
as with most donation platforms who are not tax exempt we felt that for some of you out there, this will not be important so we chose GiveButter platform to go with. the foundation on that donation page IS a non-profit foundation so in time they will be able to provide you with a tax exempt invoice retroactively but we as the project managers and creators can not promise anything, we just tell you what the foundation told us. for any further inquiry about these tax exempt invoices, please contact the foundation it self on this link:
our goal
it is important for us to share with you our goal and vision here so you may better understand what we wish to accomplish.
as we are living here in Israel and this is a war infested land four thousands of years we felt that if we can have some change happen here, it will "leak" out to the rest of the world and maybe, just maybe something can change... something new can start...
our plan is to gather enough donations to cover Israel with 108 of these wind powered interfaith world peace prayerwheels spread all over and after that has been achieved, start and ship them all over the world to anyone who is interested in placing them, be it at their home, a holy place that would allow them to be placed and so forth. we have been approached by a reform Rabbi who asked for one to be placed in Jerusalem on top of their synagogue which opened our hearts to the possibility of it arriving at places that would be of huge impact.
if you know of somewhere in the world that would love to have one placed, please drop us a line at info@peaceprayerwheeels.com and let us know. if you can even let us know if this place you wish to place this wheel at will allow us to add them to the world map, that would be amazing! not all want to share where these are and we totally understand. sharing is not for everyone.
Every $ counts
as Buddhist we live in a world of Karma. we live by merit and we dedicate all merit we have accumulated by doing anything with good intentions to all beings. we feel that all of you out there, no matter what faith you follow in this short life, you accumulate good fortune as you do good deeds. we wish to tell you that in our eyes, every donation to this project, be it big or tiny has a huge karmic merit debt to and you should conciser your selves very lucky to have been able to take part in this huge project to benefit all beings on earth and the earth itself!
if you do decide to donate, no matter the amount, take a moment to dedicate the merit you have collected by this kind act to ALL beings! may all benefit!
we will continue to update you all on the progress as it moves forward, we have no limit to the fundraiser and it is set to go on indefinitely so at any moment, if it is of important to you in any way and you wish to do something good, you can donate again and again. the goal is world peace!
may we achieve it in this lifetime for the benefit of all beings!
